Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Advocacy
Overview
Gender-Based Violence (GBV) affects the lives of countless individuals, leaving lasting emotional and physical scars. Our GBV Advocacy program aims to raise awareness, educate communities, and empower survivors to reclaim their lives. By addressing the root causes of GBV and providing resources for healing, we strive to create a community where all individuals feel safe, respected, and supported.

Our Initiatives
Awareness Campaigns
Through community workshops, seminars, and public events, we raise awareness about the impact of GBV and promote a culture of respect and equality. These campaigns provide crucial information on recognizing signs of abuse, knowing one’s rights, and understanding where to seek help.
Survivor Support Services
We offer support services tailored to survivors’ needs, including counseling, legal assistance, and referral to safe shelters. Our goal is to help survivors navigate the recovery process with compassion and access to resources that can facilitate their healing journey.
Community Education and Training
We collaborate with local leaders, law enforcement, and healthcare providers to train them on GBV prevention, response, and survivor support. By equipping key community figures with the skills to respond effectively, we foster a supportive and accountable environment.

- 10+ Survivors Supported: We have provided counseling, legal support, and access to essential services for over 20 survivors, helping them reclaim their sense of safety and dignity.
- 50+ Youth Empowerment Sessions: By engaging young people, we are fostering a culture of respect and equality that will reduce GBV in future generations.
